“Art brings me tranquility and I take it to heart” – Shaima Shibin

Ever since I mastered pencil grab, I was drawn to the world of art and drawing. It ignites my creativity and brings new dimensions to me. When I feel like drawing, I sit alone,meditate and an image appears in the mind. I then copy them to the canvas.

Out of different varieties of drawings and paintings, I prefer pencil drawing the most. I have special interest in portrait. I happily recollect my experiences with the portraits I made for Shihab Thangal, Dr. Shashi Tharoor, Mr. Firsos Kunnumparambil etc.

Straightpath in facts gives me all sorts of motivation and support to excel in my passion. I will never forget my happiest moment in life where I had an opportunity to demonstrate sand art in front of hundreds of people during S-talk grand finale. I aspire to be a professional sand artist.
