Our talented scholars have brought national glory to Straightpath International School by winning the prestigious First Position at the National Science Olympiad 2025 in New Delhi, outperforming 200+ top institutions.
The team of five senior secondary scholars from Classes 11 and 12 competed against more than 200 premier CBSE and international schools nationwide. Their groundbreaking project on Scalable Micro-Solar Renewable Solutions for Rural Communities received unanimous praise from the panel of distinguished university researchers and scientific mentors.
Throughout the four-day competitive summit, our students defended their hardware prototypes, conducted on-the-spot mathematical simulations, and presented sustainable deployment models designed to provide uninterrupted clean electricity to rural schools and healthcare centres.
“This victory is a testament to the inquiry-based scientific pedagogy we foster at Straightpath. When moral conviction and technical rigor unite, our students create transformative real-world impact.”
— Mr. SHINOJ C JOSE, Principal
Key Highlights of the Innovation
The students engineered an IoT-monitored photovoltaic storage prototype that boosts solar energy capture efficiency by up to 23% in remote microgrids. The jury particularly commended the team’s environmental lifecycle audit and cost-effective local manufacturability.
We congratulate the entire student delegation and our dedicated Science Department mentors for their relentless research, rigorous laboratory experiments, and commitment to academic excellence.
